Our Purpose: Enhancing the communications between professionals by fostering and promoting the interchange of ideas, offering mutual support and encouraging professional development. Improving clinical practice by promoting minimum standards for programs, personnel and facilities. Promoting scientific inquiry and advancement of education for healthcare professionals and for the public related to cardiovascular rehabilitation and the prevention of cardiovascular disease. Supporting the development and maintenance of quality cardiac rehabilitation programs. Supporting the efforts of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR), the national society.

The Connecticut Society for Cardiac Rehabilitation(CSCR) welcomes you to join our organization to help educate and promote cardiac health and rehabilitation.

Membership

Professional: A healthcare professional who is regularly involved in some aspect of cardiovascular rehabilitation. Professional: $60 (per year)

Student: Any interested college student matriculating in a related discipline carrying the equivalent of one half of the academic load for a year. Student members do not have voting privileges. Student: $25 (per year)

Meetings: Meetings are held quarterly on Thursday afternoons (annual schedule provided to members) and includes a luncheon, business meeting, and professional lecture(s).

Non-members are welcome to attend meetings. We hope you will find our meetings helpful and will join us. The cost to attend a single meeting is: Professional non-member: $20 (per meeting) Student non-member: $15 (per meeting)
