Homemade Italian Sausage

2lbsground pork
2Tbspgarlic, minced
1Tbsppaprika
1,50tsptoasted fennel seed
1Tbspfresh ground black pepper
0,50tspground anise
2Tbspfresh chopped Italian flat parsley

Preparation

Mix thoroughly and refrigerate for a few hours to overnight.

Sauté the sausage in a frying pan with some olive oil, as meat is extremely lean.

You may also use ground turkey in place of pork.
